ldap schema for Shibboleth

Were working on our first shib project and have just built an openLdap server to use for shib authorization.
Is there any special ldap schema required by Shibboleth that needs to be added to the openLdap server?

Also any basic tutorials on how to integrate LDAP into Shibboleth. I've read the documentation but it still seems a little confusing to understand without a completed example.
