Shibboleth and MAC OS 10.7.4 using macports hangs

raj
wasable to get the mac ports for the mac version i have but am not able to move further with any of these commands

before sudo'ing as root i ran this

sudo port selfupdate

it completed and then i tried to run

sudo port install shibboleth

it never stopped.

I had to restart mac inorder to get the terminal back and tried to issue the same commands again as root

this time neither the first nor the second worked.

Is there some inherent problem with the mac version that i am using with shibboleth 2.x?

Re: Shibboleth and MAC OS 10.7.4 using macports hangs

raj
added -v option to the below

sudo port -v selfupdate

saw that xcode was old and downloaded xcode from app store and installed it and re-ran the above.
now again see this

Basic-Lion-2012v2-9:~ vtatta$ sudo port -v selfupdate

then i downloaded XCode and then comman line tools for xcode and then it went further with macports and after that also

sudo port install shibboleth
